We spent the weekend at the family lakehouse on Tew Lake in Jonesville, Louisiana. It was the annual Trichel family reunion, and as always there was great food, fun stories, and relaxing times floating in the lake. We had a pretty good crowd this year, as well. Friday night was "Kids" night, where we "kids" (who are now in our 20s and 30s) prepared a BBQ dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, and sausage, along with sides and desserts. Saturday was the traditional buffet meal with everyone in attendance. Sunday was the fish fry, with catfish, hushpuppies, and fries. YUM! Monday we drove down to Baton Rouge and both went to Dr. Cave. They pulled bloodwork to do full metabolic panels on both of us, we both had an IV chelation treatment to draw out heavy metals (Mike's results came back clean of arsenic, but with high levels of lead and aluminum), and Sarah took a dive in the hyperbaric chamber. We'll go back in July for our bloodwork results.
