This past weekend, Sarah went with friend Jennifer to Warrenton, Louisiana, to pick up an Irish Draught purebred mare Jennifer was getting from Sarah's friend, Bill.
It was a beautiful drive over Saturday afternoon, and Bill greeted us with yummy, spicy, boiled crawfish, potatoes, and corn, done right! We ate them on the back porch of his beautiful horse farm and watched the sun set.

Sunday morning, we took a trip over to Bill's cow farm on the border of Mississippi, where Jen and Sarah gave Bill's red bull a neck scratch, much to his enjoyment. We then played with Bill's new purebred 3-week-old Irish Draught filly by friend Debbie Fullilove's stallion, Braveheart.
We attempted to get a halter on her, but she was full of piss and vinegar and we failed! Then came the process of catching the mare, who then loaded and traveled great. We got her home and settled in after a wonderful weekend.
