Meet Squirt

After selling Mike's old truck, we decided to get Mike a commuter car. After talking with a friend that had just purchased a Toyota Yaris, Mike asked me to track one down. Luckily, Swift has a deal with the local Toyota dealer, so I called them up and was able to reserve one of the two slated to come into the Houston area in the following 20 days (they were two of 22 released to the entire Southern region, if that gives you an idea how hot these cars are right now). Its best feature is that it gets 40 mpg!! Twice what our trucks get. So, it will easily pay for itself, especially since we'll use it on our travels as well. It's a zippy little car and rides really smooth. It has more room than you'd think seeing it from the outside. Mike is ecstatic to fill up at the gas station now! We are keeping the trucks, as we wouldn't get much for them as a trade nowadays anyway. Oh, and its name is Squirt.
