Our First Dressage Show!

Savvy and Sarah competed in their first dressage show this weekend, riding in the Intro level classes. It was the Windy Knoll Farms Summer show, held where Savvy was at for training with Fran.

The first test on Saturday went well, with Sarah and Savvy earning a 5th place ribbon out of six riders. The second test, they unfortunately got elimated, as Savvy tried to leave the arena while Sarah was looking at her next turn.

Update: Sunday, we rode the two tests again and did much better. In our second test we would have scored really well if Savvy hadn't decided to stop and walk in the middle of the circle we were trotting. We are looking forward to our next show in September, as we have much to improve on!
