We are battening down the hatches in preparation for Tropical Storm Eduoard. He is making landfall as I type this. Swift has closed our offices for the day, and Mike has closed his office as well, as the eye is supposed to pass right over it. While small by storm standards, Eduoard is expected to bring lots of rain, high winds, and storms, so flood-prone Texas is likely to be on the news again this weekend as being underwater. We feel pretty safe out here on the farm in Magnolia, with our biggest fear being losing electricity in this heat.
Update: We ended up barely getting hit by Eduoard at our house. Just rain throughout the day and minor wind. Near Mike's office in Liberty, there was more damage and loss of power.
