Jay's Bourbon

Well, little brother Jaybo followed his sister's suit and got himself a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. And, he named him Bourbon. I started giving him a hard time, until I remembered that we named our college Ridgeback mix Jackson because he was the color of Jack Daniels.

Anyway, poor little Bourbon had to battle parvo right after Jay got him, but he pulled through and the breeder graciously covered all the vet bills.

Mike and I went to look at Bourbon in College Station and picked him out for Jay. We took some pictures of him with another available puppy that looks just like our Dixie (Mike desperately wanted to take him home!). Seeing as that we still haven't found homes for the two stray puppies we took in, we are maxed out with five dogs at the moment!
