Our Longest Training Yet

Today, we did 12 miles!!!!!
And, we're still alive (barely)!

We can hardly believe it ourselves. It was our longest training session to date in preparation for our half marathon (13.1 miles!) on April 26th in Nashville. We lucked out and had great weather, which was especially good since it took us 4 hours! We got up at 4:15am and drove down to meet all the Houston groups training for the Leukemia & Lymphoma upcoming race events of the Country Music and Vancouver marathons. We are the #1 fundraising team in Houston for this season, thanks to the generosity of all our friends and family and Swift Energy!! It's not too late to donate and support us, just click on the Team in Training link to the left. We'll do 6 miles each the next two Saturdays before the race.

I'm so happy for the both of you. It just shows what you can do when you put your mind to it. Aside from the sore muscles I bet you feel great from all those endorphins!!
Love and miss you, Cargo
