Saphira had a good day today. This morning she was alert and had stable vital signs. This afternoon I gave her a sponge bath to clean her up and because she loves being groomed. I also got to hand feed her some palatable feed, which she was VERY excited about.
This evening, we went up and hand walked her and let her graze, then she got to eat some alfalfa. Overall, it was a good day post-surgery. We are very greatful to Dr. Boutros and the staff at Waller Equine for the great job they are doing with her.
