The Beast

I generally try not to watch new shows, because more often than not they end up getting cancelled and leaving me ticked off. With TV to DVD so common now, if a show turns out to be a hit, I'll just order it on Netflix and watch the first season.

Well, I broke my rule and watched this new show called "The Beast" on A&E the other day on the recommendation of my boss. It has Patrick Swayze in it, and I had heard about it because he found out he had pancreatic cancer while they were filming the first season. I recorded an episode and really, really liked it.

Patrick Swayze's character is this rough-around-the-edges FBI undercover dude who is training his new partner. The show is pretty raw and really well done.
