Half Marathon Training
We have been diligently training for our half marathon in April. This involves going to the gym a few days a week and then waking up at 5:30am on Saturday morning and driving to the Woodlands to do our distance runs with our training group. This past Saturday we did 5 miles on the hilly trail. For once, it was a beautiful morning (most previous Saturdays have been freezing and/or raining). We have been mainly walking to date, as we are most concerned with not getting injured and building up our endurance. But, we are slowly building up to running. We still have roughly three months to train, so we are confident we will be able to run a good portion of the half marathon when the time comes.
